What is Direct Access?

Direct Access is a law in Texas that allows you to see a physical therapist without first obtaining a prescription from a physician. This means you can schedule an appointment with us directly and begin your treatment immediately, saving you time and potentially reducing your overall healthcare costs.

In Texas, licensed physical therapists can evaluate and treat patients for up to 10 business days without a physician's referral. After 10 business days of treatment, you may need a prescription from your physician to continue physical therapy, depending on your condition and insurance requirements.
